Apex Financial Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our dynamic team in London. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns and ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and budgets.
- Maintain accurate financial records and internal audit trails.
- Process payroll for a small team of 10 employees.
- Provide financial reports to management on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- CCAB qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time capacity.
