Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Prepare budgets and provide variance analysis to management.
- Support the finance team with special projects and data audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
