Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including adjusting entries.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintaining employee payroll records.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Must be available to work the night shift (6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
