Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions daily to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process and post invoices for accounts payable and receivable on a nightly schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and ledgers.
- Manage payroll processing for night shift employees, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documentation and archives.
- Identify discrepancies in accounts and resolve them promptly.
- Perform data entry with a high degree of speed and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during night shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
