Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account closures for the weekend period.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing efficiently.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices with precision.
- Assist in month-end close procedures by preparing trial balances and financial reports.
- Process payroll for weekend staff members accurately.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Communicate financial discrepancies to the Senior Accountant promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a part-time or weekend capacity.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are highly preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
