Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial packages for client review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and payroll compliance.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Collaborate with accountants and external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Pro, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPA candidate status is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
