Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processing to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close process by compiling financial reports.
- Maintain and update the general ledger with precision and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues with vendors and clients efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
