Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll bi-weekly
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries in QuickBooks Online
- Prepare sales tax filings and quarterly tax returns
- Support month-end closing processes with journal entries
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail with error-free record-keeping
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance preferred
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 2 AM) required
