Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable/receivable with nightly processing deadlines
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial documentation
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Process payroll and tax filings for multi-state operations
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly/annual reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for advanced financial analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (3+ years)
- Proven night shift or remote accounting experience required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial data
- Ability to work independently during non-traditional hours
- Familiarity with multi-state tax regulations and payroll processing
