Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, ensuring full compliance.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Lead internal and external audits by providing comprehensive documentation and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
