Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive review
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Conduct audits of financial processes and recommend improvements for efficiency
- Maintain accurate client/vendor financial records and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of tax compliance, auditing, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
