Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are recorded correctly.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll documentation and audits.
- Manage and organize digital and physical financial records and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
Qualifications
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
