Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare VAT returns and quarterly financial reports
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and UK GAAP
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Utilize Xero and QuickBooks software for bookkeeping tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years UK bookkeeping experience
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent accounting qualification
