Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Process multi-currency transactions and bank reconciliations nightly
- Prepare monthly financial statements and VAT returns for UK clients
- Implement and maintain robust internal control systems
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly compliance reviews
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees weekly
- Optimize accounting workflows using Xero and QuickBooks
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent with 3+ years UK bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in UK GAAP and HMRC compliance regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Proven track record in multi-currency transaction processing
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation experience
- Strong analytical skills for variance analysis and reporting
- Ability to work autonomously during night shift hours
