Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Perform daily journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relations, and ensure timely collections.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analysis, and operational reports.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the processing and auditing of payroll for multiple entities.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations and internal policies.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to manage financial data.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or firm setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Certifications: CPA, CMA, or EA certification is a significant plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
