We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Night Shift Accountant to join our elite financial team in Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities
- Perform Daily Ledger Reconciliation: Accurately post daily transactions, reconcile bank statements, and resolve discrepancies in real-time.
- Process Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage high-volume invoice processing and billing cycles during the night shift to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Financial Reporting: Generate accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports for leadership review the following morning.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in the preparation and verification of payroll data, ensuring all hours and deductions are calculated correctly.
- Compliance & Auditing: Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies during off-hours.
- System Maintenance: Monitor accounting software and ERP systems for alerts, errors, or data integrity issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume or night shift environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (Advanced functions), and SAP or similar ERP systems is mandatory.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for spotting errors and ensuring data accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with the day-shift team remotely.
