Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with IRS regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and explain complex tax concepts.
- Perform tax research and analysis to support tax planning strategies.
- Assist with the year-end tax closing process and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation (CPA candidate or recent graduate considered).
- Proficiency in tax software such as ProSeries, Lacerte, or Drake.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
