Responsibilities
- Manage Nightly Financial Reporting: Compile and reconcile daily financial statements, ensuring accuracy before the morning team reviews the data.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and track receivables efficiently during the night cycle.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll, verifying hours and deductions for accuracy.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Compliance & Auditing: Maintain organized records and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- System Maintenance: Update accounting software and databases to reflect current financial status.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a night shift or high-volume accounting role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity under time pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
