Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day and end-of-week financial reconciliations, including bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analyses.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure full compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Manage the payroll processing for night-shift personnel and resolve any payroll discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and digital archives for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification is preferred but not strictly required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot errors in complex data sets.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
