Responsibilities
- Reconciliation Management: Perform nightly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit card transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare nightly financial statements and variance reports for executive review.
- AP/AR Processing: Manage the high-volume processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable during the evening shift.
- Audit Support: Assist in year-end audits by providing organized and timely documentation of financial records.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and internal company policies.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) to input and modify financial data.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software.
