Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including garnishments and deductions
- Prepare and file federal/state tax forms (941s, unemployment reports) and year-end W-2s
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within SLA
- Support HR with new hire onboarding and benefits administration
- Implement process improvements using Power BI analytics
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, ACA, and Texas labor laws
- Manage 401(k) enrollments and reconcile retirement contributions
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with ADP/Workday systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- PHR/SPHR or CPP certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proficiency in Texas payroll tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential employee data
