Key Duties:
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Perform accurate daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledgers to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Process payroll adjustments and assist with tax filings as required by regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
