Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume journal entry posting and general ledger reconciliation with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Process and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor accounts.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures, including variance analysis.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including trial balances and income statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP accounting standards.
- Respond to payroll inquiries and support the night shift payroll processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience; night shift experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks during the night shift.
