Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the accurate recording of financial transactions, ensuring our books are balanced and compliant with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger reconciliations and bank statement analysis.
- Process and review high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Conduct internal audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
- Communicate effectively with morning shift staff regarding outstanding issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Must be available to work a full-time night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
