Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily transactions and prepare month-end financial statements
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Conduct internal audits and maintain financial documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Generate financial reports for executive leadership review
- Implement process improvements for night shift accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with night shift or flexible scheduling preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP and Maryland tax regulations
