Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with precision
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries nightly
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing after business hours
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Collaborate with auditors during off-hours engagements
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports for executive review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
