Responsibilities
- Manage end-of-day financial close procedures, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews to ensure compliance.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and suggest process improvements.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional in-office meetings.
