Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and reconcile monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles, ensuring timely processing and vendor/client communications
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures with journal entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
- Develop and implement automated accounting solutions to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shift hours
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced settings
