Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements compliant with UK GAAP and IFRS standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted financial performance
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support tax compliance and VAT reporting requirements
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in full-cycle accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage/Xero)
- Demonstrated experience with UK tax regulations and compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during unsupervised night shifts
