We're seeking a meticulous professional to manage end-to-end accounting processes during UK night shifts, ensuring real-time financial accuracy for our San Diego portfolio. This unique position combines international finance exposure with the work-life balance of overnight scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable for San Diego office operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Oversee month-end closing procedures with US GAAP alignment
- Coordinate with San Diego team on financial discrepancies and audits
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Process international wire transfers and currency conversions
- Implement internal controls for financial data security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in night shift accounting or finance operations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA preferred)
- US GAAP and UK GAAP compliance knowledge
- Experience with multinational financial systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or ACCA designation
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving
