Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts with precision
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures independently
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive review
- Ensure strict adherence to UK GAAP and international accounting standards
- Collaborate with global teams on cross-border financial reporting
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Manage VAT returns and other regulatory compliance tasks
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven expertise in month-end closing procedures
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Ability to work autonomously in a night-shift environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
