Responsibilities
- Process end-of-day financial transactions and reconcile accounts with precision
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports before market open
- Manage payroll processing for international teams during off-peak hours
- Conduct thorough audits of financial records and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with AP/AR teams to resolve payment issues overnight
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Maintain accurate financial databases and backup systems
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in night shift accounting or similar role
- Expert knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in SAP/Oracle ERP systems and Excel
