Responsibilities
- Process end-of-day financial transactions and reconcile accounts with zero discrepancy tolerance
- Prepare and distribute accurate monthly financial statements to stakeholders
- Manage month-end closing procedures during overnight hours
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with AP/AR teams to resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain strict compliance with UK GAAP and FCA regulations
- Generate analytical reports for executive review
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven expertise in month-end closing procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP/Oracle)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy standards
- Strong problem-solving abilities for complex financial scenarios
