We are looking for an experienced Night Shift Accountant to join our Sacramento team. This role is critical in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly while the rest of the office is offline. You will handle daily accounting tasks, including processing invoices and reconciling accounts, allowing you to enjoy a quiet work environment and a flexible schedule. Responsibilities
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and credit card audits.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare daily financial reports and expense summaries.
- Manage and maintain accurate digital and physical financial records.
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy during night shifts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
