Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform complex account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and accruals
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Process payroll and tax-related financial transactions during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes
- Maintain organized financial documentation and secure sensitive information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to reconcile complex accounts
- Proven ability to work independently in remote or overnight environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with financial audits and compliance documentation
