Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily transactions using accounting software (QuickBooks/Sage)
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and expense reporting
- Support payroll processing and VAT submissions
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Communicate with clients regarding financial documentation
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proactive learning attitude with willingness to study qualifications (AAT Level 2 supported)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
