Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and track payments.
- Support the preparation of basic monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Organize and file financial documents and receipts.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end payroll adjustments.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English, or A-Levels in Finance/Accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Eagerness to learn new accounting software (training provided).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus but not required.
