Role Overview:
As a Junior Accountant, you will be exposed to the core functions of our accounting department. While no formal experience is required, a strong aptitude for numbers and attention to detail is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and data entry.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end close procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing for selected clients.
- File and organize financial documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new software.
