Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the finance team with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing basic financial reports.
Qualifications
- No prior accounting experience required (this is a trainee role).
- GCSEs in Mathematics and English (or equivalent) are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
