We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Accountant (Entry Level) to join our finance team and support our daily operations.
The Role:
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity. You will work closely with senior accountants to manage accounts, process transactions, and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or career changers looking to launch a career in finance.
What you will do:
- Assist with monthly bookkeeping and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and assist with annual corporation tax.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare basic financial statements and reports for management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems.
Who we are looking for:
- AAT qualified or currently studying for ACCA/CIMA/ACCA.
- Minimum 2:2 degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
