Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling bank statements and credit cards.
- Process invoices and ensure all expenses are recorded accurately in the system.
- Prepare basic financial reports and schedules for senior review.
- Support the team with VAT returns and general ledger maintenance.
- Maintain and update client records and filing systems.
- Communicate with clients regarding account queries in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- GCSEs in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
- AAT Level 1 or 2 (desirable but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new software (training provided).
