Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the month-end closing process.
- Support the senior accounting team with data entry and filing.
- Process invoices and ensure all documentation is organized and compliant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently enrolled).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to obtain professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) within the first few years of employment.
