Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and financial record maintenance
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
- Prepare draft financial statements under supervision
- Manage VAT returns and basic tax documentation
- Utilize accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks) for data entry
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AAT/CIMA beneficial)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems
- Proactive problem-solving approach
