Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, maintaining strict adherence to company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Organize and file financial documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Support the tax preparation process by gathering and verifying necessary data.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 0-2 years of professional experience or internship in accounting/finance.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
