Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Process invoices, expenses, and payroll entries accurately and within deadlines.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and manage tax compliance requirements.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with the annual audit process and ad-hoc financial projects.
Qualifications
- AAT qualification or currently studying for AAT (Level 2 or 3).
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks) is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
