Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and reconciliation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process by preparing journal entries and schedules.
- Prepare and analyze basic financial reports and statements for management review.
- Organize and maintain financial documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist with tax preparation filings and documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
