Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process by preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Maintain and organize financial records, spreadsheets, and digital filing systems.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the preparation of tax documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- No prior professional accounting experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus but not mandatory.
