Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process under supervision.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Zero to two years of professional experience (internships or entry-level roles accepted).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
