Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate maintenance of financial records.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payroll data for accuracy.
- Prepare basic financial reports and maintain organized filing systems for documents.
- Assist with general ledger tasks and data entry to support the finance department.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, is highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn new software.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information.
