Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger entries using Sage or Xero.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post invoices to the accounting system and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Support the senior finance team with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Organize and file financial documents, receipts, and records efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
Qualifications
- A strong desire to learn and a keen eye for detail.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are preferred.
- Basic computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
